Most of us know that people purchase animals, but we forget that it's been a lengthy exercise for men to also "purchase" brides. The rising trend among Malaysian and Singaporean guys are Vietnamese women, today.

Some apparently rely on the delusion that Vietnamese women use a strange tribal lust which makes them room dynamos. The majority of the men who seek to buy Vietnamese wives expect their wives to act like geishas.

The man, who bought his Vietnamese girlfriend for RM13 needed a return because he reported, among other items, that he couldn't talk to her as she could speak Vietnamese. It wasn't claimed, however didn't he realize this ahead of getting her and only found out that she wasn't multilingual 17 days after their wedding. I read that some matchmaking agencies provide a "trial period" where when the customer isn't pleased with his wife, an upgraded cant be fixed, minus a small "administrative fee".

Anyway, returning for the original account, the matchmaking company was displeased with the man's tricks as they do not perform such as a retail store which has a money back guarantee policy. On hindsight, he should have bought his wife with his credit card, then he'd manage to declare a chargeback for "faulty goods".

It's not known if, in future, "hire purchase" terms or "sequel plans" might be arranged with matchmaking organizations to purchase brides making them cheaper to the masses.

However, inspite of the value and social stigma attached with investing in a Vietnamese wife, to some guys, they believe that in the longrun this may show to be cheaper in comparison to marrying a local woman.
